If it's just gonna be the three of us (and steve) than we should instead plan a trip that does not involve driving to the poconos. Possibilities include:

• Miami (my family has a place on the beach) $120 round trip?
• Boston (Steve has a condo in Cambridge)
• Chicago (Heather Rennie has an apartment that we are invited to)
• Skydiving (Eastern LI)
• Hamptons?

I surrender. Hopefully Tom is defecting. He said he was going to try to reschedule his civic duty.
