So, after some delicate investigatory work, I found out that not only is it LEGAL to have Bonfires in NY, but Westhampton Beach actually even has a form/permit that you can get if you really want to be safe.
You can light it up right on the beach. Hooray! The only downside of getting the permit is having to pay the $30. I would venture to guess that you could just do it without a permit and put the fire out if (for some reason) the cops come.

Ok, I'm gonna do a road trip to Chicago.
If you fellas want in, you're more than welcome. In fact, you should make sure you come.
I'll be inviting myself to stay at Heather Rennie's OR one of my buddies from work owns a place there. I'm sure he can hook us up. Also, my buddy Timmy lives there now too.

yo mike.....i got the 10K on sunday the 31st, are you moving your brother in on labor day? if not lets set up a trip into the city...perhaps an afternoon in central park with a blanket, a frisbee, and some sangria.....shit son...well, not just me and you of course we would have to invite others so that it would just be me and you sharing some wine, and a blanket, in central park......that would be a nice labor day. then go get some din din somewhere.... and a new pair of jeans. that chick would go nuts if you went back there to get another pair of those.
then i say we hit up the beach on the 5th of september (ill double check availability)hangout till saturday, get the clam bake going, then come back saturday night and crash at noras till the race on sunday.

I've done all I can do in hopes of attending but the paper work is being processed late bc NCC won't allow my transcript to be released. I owe a bill and even though I've taken action through an agency to make partial payments, they won't release anything without FULL payment. THEY'RE SUCH BITCHES. I feel like they've done something illegal, meaning they've hulted my education.

- Yeah, the 35 miler sounds good to me. The only problem is that I already signed up for the 55. Can we just call/email them and make the switch?
- No problem. Fixing up the bike should be a piece of cake. Just gotta get it from the hamptons and then we can fix it up real quick. I got the tools and stuff at my house. You'll probably need new tubes ($6 each) tires ($14 each) and maybe brake pads or something. Who the fuck knows. Anyway, we can fix it.

DallasBBQ
Fellas. Great time at the DallasBBQ last night. Pulled pork was delicious, and everything got drenched in Ranch Dressing.
Mojitos, Margaritas and Texas style drinks were the tits. I give it my seal-of-approval.
